We recommend you run a county of residence for the last 7 years to discover any criminal records. The United States has 3,006 counties; 14 boroughs and 11 census areas in Alaska, the District of Columbia, 64 parishes in Louisiana, Baltimore city, Maryland, St. Louis city, Missouri, that part of Yellowstone National Park in Montana, Carson City, Nevada; and 41 independent cities in Virginia.  

In the Federal court system there are 94 District courts, 13 circuit courts and one Supreme Court throughout the country.   Here is where to find information on Federal crimes such as: financial crimes, arson, crimes against children, racketeering, etc.  Federal crimes are reported in the Federal courts.  Be sure to check there too!
